斧のクリーニング→表面加工→研ぎが終わったので、柄入れ、そしてシース作りです。斧の表面加工は、アマニ油を焼き付けて錆止め。柄の固定にはゴリラグルーとオークの楔。
I have finished the cleaning, surface finish and sharpening of the axe head, so the setting of helve and sheath making has started. For the surface finish, I have heat set the coat of linseed oil. For helve, I have used the Gorilla glue and oak wedge.

接着剤がほぼ硬化したところで、シース作り。

革がある程度乾いたら、レザーオイルを染み込ませ、磨いて完成！試し切りが待ちどうしい！！

返信削除Still need little more work on this sheath, but is actually turning out to be better than I expected. So I am quite happy with it so far.
